Impossible Possible
Hey, happy to see you all again! I come back with some great news to share. Read carefully.. this is a story about how He has been so kind to me and sure, for you as well.😊
Have you ever been in a situation which makes you wanna give up and stop fighting? I faced this situation months ago in late 2023. I could say it was the toughest moment in my life (again) after a while. My family encountered a financial difficulties and I needed to support my family as soon as possible. I had no idea where to go to look for a job that is close enough from home, so I can still take care of my mom and take online uni classes at the same time. At that moment, I was totally lost because I couldn't see a way since the major I'm in right now is not my cup of tea.. so I had no experiences or portfolios to prove my abilities. And shame on myself who didn't have a pro IT close friend to be asked for. But nothing is impossible for God.
As I took an internship in a bank (October 2023), I met my very first mentor. He is a young man with a kind-hearted personality, more like an old brother to me. He taught me a lot about building a website from scratch (company-based) which is really different from what I learned in classes. But he made it simple for me who was a totally beginner. He kind of changes my view about web programming, it's pretty interesting now hehe. And that was how I knew God worked on me to receive the next blessing He was about to pour on to my life. Nothing is a coincidence in God's work.
Time went by, it was already in December when my old sister had to go back to her region. Ah, I forgot to mention. She did come to Bali to visit mom who just done her brain surgery and was still in a recovery process. Confusion and worries fulfilled my head, I didn't know how I could manage life if she is not around anymore. I felt myself not ready for everything. It was hard to juggle between study, internship, and take care of an ill family member.. and additionally when you struggled financially. But then, there was this one event that we will create annually every 31st of December in church. It is to write a wish list for the next year. I was hesitant to write anything, but I did anyway. One thing that I wish for was to have a job with these details:
- close from home
- positive work environment
- a place to grow
- decent salary
- still able to attend Sunday's worship
Just believe. God bless you!😇
